our mission

Tax should be easy.
And it should be cheap.

Tax has been hard and expensive for as long as anyone can remember. The tools were built for accountants and priced for businesses, leaving everyone who works for themselves to muddle through, or pay through the nose for help.

We're here to end that. Pippa makes tax affordable and easy for the creator, the courier, the landlord, the plumber, the freelancer. Everyone who works for themselves, in every profession, deserves to file with confidence, without a £600 accountant or a spreadsheet nightmare.

02 the founders

Built by people who've felt it.

Pippa is built by two sole traders who've lived the problem first-hand, and got tired of waiting for someone else to fix it.

Cassian Hill, Co-founder & CEO of Pippa
It feels like every tax app out there was built for accountants, not for me.”
Cassian Hill
Co-founder & CEO

As a sole trader, Cass spent more time wrestling with expensive tax software than doing his actual work. Clunky interfaces, endless forms, hours gone. Pippa is the app he wished he'd had.

Alexander Walker, Co-founder & CTO of Pippa
We wanted an easier way to do our own taxes. So we built one to share it.”
Alexander Walker
Co-founder & CTO

Alex was paid in dollars through PayPal, Stripe and Deel into his bank, with side hustles on top. No existing tax tool could pull it all together. He's building Pippa's engine so multi-source income just works.

This is the start.

Self-employed tax today. Small businesses next. Corporation tax after that. The mission doesn't change: make tax simple and affordable for everyone, whatever you do for a living. And retire the expensive, over-complicated legacy that's held people back for decades.
